Eoin
Brawns motto in life is Make Something Out of Nothing
and from an early age demonstrated that he was a natural entrepreneur.
While studying at University in Wales he walked into a Police Station
and asked them where they got the extra people for their line ups
and sold them the idea of recruiting students as extras. He got £10
a line up for each person which helped him get through college and
the idea of working in the recruitment industry. He has a passion
for sales and believes that the best sales professionals use their
personality to sell and if not always asking, you will never get.
A native of Dublin, Eoin achieved great success in the recruitment
industry in the 1990s. He specialised in accountancy and financial
recruitment where he developed new formulas and recruitment skills
to become a Big Biller within the financial services markets
in Dublin, London, Frankfurt and Bermuda. His nickname in recruitment
was The Ideas Man because of his creative approaches and ideas
in Client Development and Headhunting which proved to be very successful.
Eoin always had a keen interest in the area of behavioural science
and human communication and how in a sales process you can control
and influence the customer with language and questioning techniques.
In 2001, he left the recruitment industry to become the first ever
Recruitment Trainer in Ireland as he was fascinated in training recruiters
with the techniques and ideas he had developed. He has a very interactive
delivery style consisting of techniques used in hypnotherapy to help
his audience retain information. Eoin uses NLP and Word Association
as a learning technology, therefore when he trains somebody do a sales
call he doesnt script them, he gets them to use their personality
with a visual structure in their head. These triggers help the sales
professional to come across more natural in the process and to have
a stronger ability to close.
During the last 8 years Eoin has trained over 18,000 Recruitment Consultants
and Sales Professionals in Ireland, UK, Germany, Czech Republic, USA,
South Africa and Australia. Eoin has written all of his training courses
himself and is very successful at transferring his techniques and
structures to an audience. His courses are very motivational, unpredictable,
emotional and extremely enjoyable. He does not like to use PowerPoint
as he finds it boring but instead uses workbooks and always likes
to give a plan of action to his audience at the end of a course.
